MISSION
Our Mission is simple.
We raise money for Veterans with PTSD.
By raising awareness for other organizations, and financial support to assist Veterans battle PTSD and Substance Abuse.
Our Goal is to help Veterans “Rise Above” becoming a statistic.

We are a 501(c) 3 taxexempt volunteer nonprofit organization. Our EIN is 87-3821090, We just concluded our 8th Annual Benefit, and have raised over $185k towards organizations and treatment programs for Veterans and first responders in need of affordable treatment for PTSD and depression.
Sparing someone the pain of losing a loved one to suicide is our ultimate goal and getting their loved one help is how we do it. Each year, The money we raise will be donated to 3 different local non-profits with a similar mission that provide direct assistance.

Scott Kaufmann founded Ride & Rise Above, and with plenty of help throughout the years it has continued to grow and help others.
Scott grew up with a lot of mental health issues in his immediate family. He lost his brother to suicide, and almost lost his mother multiple times as well. Immediately after losing his brother, he had an idea

Scott grew up with a lot of mental health issues in his immediate family. He lost his brother to suicide, and almost lost his mother multiple times as well. Immediately after losing his brother, he had an idea to use that experience to help others. In 2016, after making peace with his troubled past and finding forgiveness, Ride & Rise Above was born.
